Smart Buildings in Smart Sustainable City Seminar, Isfahan AUTOCOM 2017

Isfahan Municipality ICT organization (FAVA)-IMICT participated in the 23rd International Exhibition of Computer, Office Automation, Telecommunication and Digital Devices (AUOCOM 2017) held on the opening day Nov 21, 2017. Smart Buildings in a Smart Sustainable City Seminar was presented by Mr. Ebrahim Khalilian, R & D manager at FAVA.

In the 23rd International Exhibition of Computer, Office Automation, Telecommunication and Digital Devices (AUOCOM 2017), Mr. Ebrahim Khalilian described the role and importance of smart buildings in public buildings such as hospitals, hotels, stadiums and city offices, as well as smart residential buildings in the realization of smart city. He reported that based on studies done 40% of world's energy is consumed in the buildings while 30% of the greenhouse gasses is globally related to the houses. He also emphasized that in the construction & real-estate industry more than 33 percent of resources are consumed by humans; in addition, 12% of fresh water is used in this industry and 40% of solid waste is associated to this industry.
